While each attraction brought something different to the table, one experience completely stole the show for me: the haunted hayride.

He played a cursed 13 note melody in a desperate attempt to bring back his wife, but what he unleashed was something far more sinister. Symphony No. 13 was absolutely incredible! Vampires, werewolves, and dark fantasy?
On paper, this is the kind of concept that should immediately grab my attention.
The 13th Blood Rite brings those supernatural creatures together in a world of darkness and bloodthirsty mythology.
However, compared with the other experiences, this one didn't resonate with me quite as strongly.
That's not to say it was a bad attraction. The theme has plenty of potential, and different guests may respond to its scares differently.
But when I compare my overall experience with the rest of the lineup, it lands at the bottom of my personal list this year.
My verdict: An intriguing supernatural concept that didn't quite reach the heights of the other attractions for me.

The Real Monsters? Florida's Mosquitoes!!

Because while Sir Henry's delivered plenty of monsters, the most aggressive creatures I encountered weren't wearing costumes.
They were flying.
And they were hungry.
Listen, the scare actors can chase me, scream at me, and jump out from behind trees all they want.
But those mosquitoes?
They were taking actual blood samples.
I didn't even need to enter a haunted attraction to experience a bloodbath. Apparently, 45 minutes in the hayride queue without OFF! was enough.
All jokes aside, this is an outdoor attraction in Central Florida, and insect repellent is something I would absolutely bring.
I got bitten far more than I would have liked, particularly while waiting for the hayride. It was frustrating enough that I decided to come back when the line was shorter.
